|All players start a tournament with the same number of chips. Once the game kicks off, the mandatory blind and antes are raised and if a player loses all his chips, he is out of the tournament. The last player still in the tournament is the winner and he is rewarded with the biggest part of the price pool. The rest of the pot is between the other players, depending on the number of participants in the tournament. |
In order to win a tournament, you will need to think have clear strategy. You should not play too many hands at the start of the tournament, but at some point will have to take risks. If you know that you have monster cards in your hand, then you should not choose the safest path. Try not to panic when you become short-stacked. Wait patiently for your opportunities and try to discover what your opponents are up to.
